I am thinking of Alex today as I spend much of the day cooking for a friend who will have gotten out of the hospital after a 10 day stay. I would like her to have some meals in the house upon her return. While I have only known Alex through the eyes of others, her presence continues to be palpable and the life force that emanated from her all to short life has spread far. What a blessing her life was to those who knew her as well as those who knew of her through the memories of those who knew and loved her.
