My toddler has a rare genetic disorder which has caused her to have developmental delays, and she has an army of therapists and teachers who help her develop. I took a moment to reach out to her early intervention specialists (PT, OT, and SLP) who stopped treating her when she turned three and aged out of the program. I updated them on her progress in preschool and thanked them for all of their work with her, which laid a foundation for her success. They were happy to have been remembered and recognized.
